The Biopark is located to the north of the city of Toledo, being cut by an important state highway, the PR182 and it has a connection with the BR163 highway as well. The municipality has approximately 132 thousand inhabitants and is of 1,196,999 km, according to the IBGE. It is considered one of the ten largest cities in Paraná, ranking 3rd in the Human Development Index (HDI). It is also among the 100 Best Brazilian cities for Investment, according to Exame magazine.
